PDP Faction Led by Nyesom Wike Endorses President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 General Election
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) faction aligned with the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, hereby announces its endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the 2027 General Election in the interest of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This decision is premised on our conviction that national interest must always take precedence over partisan considerations. We believe that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated confidence in our leader, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, whose leadership as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory has been marked by significant infrastructural development and the revitalization of Abuja. These achievements have contributed positively to the lives of residents and Nigerians at large.
The cooperation demonstrated during the recent FCT Area Council elections, where members of our political family worked closely with the APC, reflected a shared commitment to peace, development, and national progress. We believe this spirit of collaboration should continue as the nation prepares for the 2027 General Election.
We acknowledge the President's economic reforms and development agenda. While these policies have demanded patience and sacrifice from Nigerians, we believe they are intended to strengthen the nation's economy and lay the foundation for long-term prosperity. We therefore support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's bid for a second term to consolidate these reforms and sustain the momentum of national development.
Accordingly, we call on all members, supporters, and stakeholders associated with our political family across the country to unite in supporting the APC-led administration and work towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 General Election.
We also express our appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our leader, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for their commitment to national development and the remarkable transformation taking place across the Federal Capital Territory.
